I often feel that I was somehow born under a lucky star as far as my career goes, because I was fortunate enough to be born and raised in one of the world's most respected hubs for food and wine, Sonoma County, California, or "The Wine Country" as it's known. My intuitive interest in food began around age 5, out of nowhere it seemed. It wasn't until culinary school that I really began to understand, appreciate and grasp the little slice of culinary heaven that I just so happened to have come from. It was because of my fortunate place in the world, that I was able to thrive in my culinary career. I never take for granted the incredible opportunities I have been given, and I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experiences with you.
